INTRUCTIONS FOR AUTHORS

 Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) welcomes the submission of high-quality, original research articles, case studies, review papers, and reports on community service and applied research. Before submitting your manuscript, please read and adhere to the following instructions to ensure a smooth and efficient submission process.

1. General Submission Guidelines

  • Originality: Manuscripts must be original and have not been published or under review elsewhere. All submitted works should contribute new knowledge or practical solutions in the field.

  • Language: Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian or English. The language should be clear, concise, and free of grammatical errors.

  • File Format: Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word format (.doc or .docx). PDF files are not accepted for submission.

  • Manuscript Length: Research articles should be between 4,000 and 8,000 words, including references, tables, and figures. Case studies and reports may vary in length but should not exceed 6,000 words.

  • References: Ensure that all references are formatted according to the APA Style (7th edition). A complete list of references should be provided at the end of the manuscript. Citations within the text should include the author's last name and year of publication (e.g., [Smith, 2010]).

2. Manuscript Structure

The manuscript should be organized according to the following sections:

  1. Title: The title should be concise, descriptive, and informative. It should clearly convey the subject of the research or project.

  2. Abstract: Provide a concise summary of the manuscript, including the research objective, methodology, main findings, and conclusion. The abstract should not exceed 250 words. Please include 3 to 5 keywords at the end of the abstract.

  3. Keywords: Provide 3 to 5 relevant keywords to assist with indexing and searchability.

  4. Introduction:

    • State the background and the problem or issue being addressed.

    • Clearly define the objectives or hypotheses of the research.

    • Provide an overview of the research question(s) and the relevance of the study.

  5. Literature Review (if applicable):

    • Summarize the current state of research on the topic.

    • Identify gaps in the literature and how your research aims to fill these gaps.

  6. Methodology:

    • Describe the research design, data collection methods, and analysis techniques used in the study.

    • Include ethical considerations, especially when involving human subjects.

  7. Results and Discussion:

    • Present the main findings of the research, including tables, figures, and statistical analysis if applicable.

    • Discuss the implications of the results in relation to existing literature and practice.

    • If appropriate, provide recommendations for future research or policy/practice.

  8. Conclusion: Summarize the key findings and their potential impact on the field, community, or industry.

  9. References: List all sources cited in the manuscript. Follow the APA Style (7th edition) for citations and references.

  10. Acknowledgments (if applicable): Acknowledge any individuals, organizations, or funding sources that contributed to the research.

  11. Appendices (if applicable): Include any supplementary material, such as raw data, additional figures, or detailed tables.

3. Figures and Tables

  • Figures: All figures (charts, graphs, images, etc.) should be of high quality (at least 300 dpi) and clearly labeled. Ensure that the figure captions are descriptive and placed below the figure.

  • Tables: Tables should be presented in a clear and readable format. Provide a table caption above the table. Each table should be cited in the main text.

  • Placement: Figures and tables should be placed within the manuscript text, not at the end.

4. Submission Process

  1. Online Submission: All manuscripts must be submitted through the JRAP online submission system. Please create an account or log in to submit your manuscript.

  2. Cover Letter: A cover letter should accompany your submission, including the following:

    • The title of the manuscript.

    • A brief description of the research and its significance.

    • Confirmation that the manuscript has not been published elsewhere or submitted to other journals.

    • A statement confirming that all co-authors have approved the manuscript and its submission.

    • Disclosure of any conflicts of interest.

  3. Peer Review: All submitted manuscripts will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Authors should be prepared for revisions based on the feedback from reviewers.

5. Ethical Considerations

  • Human and Animal Rights: If the research involves human participants or animals, authors must ensure that the study complies with ethical standards and has been approved by the relevant ethical review board. Ethical approval details should be provided in the methodology section.

  • Conflict of Interest: Authors must disclose any potential conflicts of interest that could influence the research or manuscript presentation.

  • Plagiarism:  Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) uses plagiarism detection software to ensure the originality of all submissions. Manuscripts containing plagiarism will be rejected.

6. Copyright and Open Access

  • Copyright: Upon acceptance of the manuscript, authors grant  Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) the right to publish and distribute their work. Authors retain the copyright of their article, but by submitting the article to the journal, they agree to allow  Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) to distribute the article under an open-access model.

  • Open Access:  Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) is an open-access journal, meaning that all articles published in the journal are freely available to the public, ensuring maximum visibility and impact for the research.

7. Publication Fees

 Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) does not charge submission or publication fees. All costs associated with the publication of the article, including peer review and editorial services, are covered by the journal.

8. Revisions and Proofreading

  • Authors may be required to make revisions to their manuscript following peer review. The revised manuscript should be resubmitted within the time frame given.

  • After acceptance, authors will be sent a proof of the article for final approval before publication. It is the author's responsibility to carefully check the proof for any errors.
