Peer Review Process

Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and originality of the articles published. The peer review process in JRAP consists of the following stages:

  1. Submission of Manuscript
Authors submit their manuscripts through the JRAP Online Journal System (OJS).

  2. Initial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript fits the journal’s focus and scope, and checks for completeness and adherence to the journal’s formatting guidelines.

  3. Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are checked for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software.

  4. Assignment to Reviewers
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The review process is double-blind, meaning both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other.

  5. Peer Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific contribution, methodology, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field. Reviewers provide recommendations: accept, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject.

  6. Review Decision
The editor considers the reviewers’ comments and makes a decision: accept, revise (minor/major), or reject.

  7. Revision Stage
If revisions are required, authors are asked to revise their manuscript according to the reviewers’ feedback and resubmit it through the system.

  8. Final Decision
The editor conducts a final evaluation of the revised manuscript. If the manuscript meets all requirements, it will be accepted for publication.

  9. Publication
Accepted manuscripts are processed for publication in the upcoming issue of JRAP.

Note:
The entire review process typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of reviewers and authors.
