Peer Review Process
Journal of Economic, Technical, and Law (JETLaw) implements a double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality and originality of the articles published. The peer review process in JRAP consists of the following stages:
-
Submission of Manuscript
Authors submit their manuscripts through the JRAP Online Journal System (OJS). -
Initial Screening
The editorial team conducts an initial screening to ensure the manuscript fits the journal’s focus and scope, and checks for completeness and adherence to the journal’s formatting guidelines. -
Plagiarism Check
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are checked for plagiarism using anti-plagiarism software. -
Assignment to Reviewers
Eligible manuscripts are assigned to at least two reviewers who are experts in the relevant field. The review process is double-blind, meaning both the reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other. -
Peer Review Process
Reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on originality, scientific contribution, methodology, clarity of presentation, and relevance to the field. Reviewers provide recommendations: accept, accept with minor revisions, accept with major revisions, or reject. -
Review Decision
The editor considers the reviewers’ comments and makes a decision: accept, revise (minor/major), or reject. -
Revision Stage
If revisions are required, authors are asked to revise their manuscript according to the reviewers’ feedback and resubmit it through the system. -
Final Decision
The editor conducts a final evaluation of the revised manuscript. If the manuscript meets all requirements, it will be accepted for publication. -
Publication
Accepted manuscripts are processed for publication in the upcoming issue of JRAP.
Note:
The entire review process typically takes 4–8 weeks, depending on the responsiveness of reviewers and authors.
